Fire damage from lit cigarette

These apartments are located in Bardstown, Kentucky.

The tenant fell asleep in bed with a lit cigarette that caused a huge fire and damaged several nearby units.

SERVPRO of Bullitt & N. Nelson Counties. We boarded up windows and put a tarp over some areas, removed smoke damaged insulation and charred or wet drywall throughout the apartments, cleaned the soot off the walls and ceiling, cleaned all soiled carpets and replaced the unsalvageable carpet, removed many truck loads of debris from the property.

We then painted all the units with fresh paint. Replaced the windows with brand new ones.
