Hidden Leak Causes Major Damage

Hidden Mold in Louisville, KY

This homeowner in Louisville, KY was shocked to discover mold and rot under their cabinets, due to an unknown leak. A water pipe had busted behind the cabinets and ran continually, until the damage had become visible. Notice in the photo all the damage that was revealed once the cabinets were removed. SERVPRO of Bullitt & North Nelson Counties quickly assessed the situation and began removing the rotted and molded materials. Unfortunately, leaks like this one can cause major damage and all of the materials seen here had to be replaced. Remember to randomly check under cabinets, around water heaters, and in any area that can be overlooked easily.
