Indirect Heater with 7 vents Indirect Heater with 7 vents to run heat into water damaged building

Some waterlosses require specialty equipment in order to achieve optimal drying. SERVPRO of Bullitt & N. Nelson Counties recently had to help a client with a very large waterloss that occurred in a historical building. Due to the location and size of the building we had to deploy the use of our indirect heater. These type of heaters, which are usually set up outdoors, draw in fresh, outside air through intake vents. The fresh air then passes over the burn chamber where it’s heated & forced by blower fans to blow into a building through ducting. The heater’s unwanted fumes are expelled through a “chimney.” This process is known to reduce safety concerns related to carbon monoxide poisoning, which makes this an ideal piece of equipment to use in such a large space.Water damage is a challenge many face.
